THE 2 OBVIOUS DIFFERENCES I SEE BETWEEN THE 484 AND 484B IS A RECORD /PLAY PUSH SWITCH HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE FAR LEFT AND THE 4 MEMORY LED'S HAVE BEEN ELININATED. MY UNIT IS NOT FUNCTIONING SO I HAVE TO TROUBLESHOOT IT.THE UNIT WAS GIVEN TO ME WITH THE BOARD AND ALL COMPONETS REMOVED FROM THE ENCLOSURE. SO FAR I HAVE FOUND ONE BAD IC.ALL IC;S ARE INSTALLED IN SOCKETS WHICH REALLY MAKES IT MUCH EASIER TO CHANGE IC'S.THE WEIRD THING IS THE U4 14 PIN SOCKET HAD PINS 1 THRU 7 REMOVED.THAT WAS THE BAD IC I FOUND SO FAR AND IT WAS REPLACED WITH A NEW IC AND THAT IS FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY.
