'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' has announced that it will be going on the road to cover the Republican National Convention from Tampa, Florida this August. The broadcasts will mark the first of two weeks of on-location convention coverage by the satirical news show, which it would air from Charlotte, North Carolina during the DNC in September. From Tuesday, August 28 through Friday, August 31, 'The Daily Show' will tape at the David A. Center for the Performing Arts in Ferguson Hall and air nightly at 11:00 p.m. The show will then head to Charlotte to cover the 2012 DNC from ImaginOn: The Joe & Joan Martin Center from Tuesday, September 4 through Friday, September 7.
