Ultima Underworld 2 Save Game

While scanning some of the data files to UW, I came across the string 'thank you for using the UItima Editor.' Don't pin me down on the 'thank you', but im sure, it DID mention 'Ultima Underworld Editor' Is this some kind of character editor like the 'spam, spam, spam, humbug' cheaters menu in U6? I tried analyzing the player.dat file, but the only thing I found out is the location of the current vitality (offset dd, try writing an 'ff' there!) The rest of the information seems to be crypted or compressed. I know this takes some of fun away from playing, but I would too like to start of with some good stats.:=) After all, there's still some major quests to do in the Abyss. I've heard Origin uses an internal editor to build their games. They make a newer, spiffier one for each Ultima, then use it to make more games which are released as the 'worlds of Ultima' series.
